The Board of Directors is made up of unpaid volunteers dedicated to leading CAPEX forward. Board positions do require additional time and energy by nature of the responsibilities; however, the experience can be a very rewarding one.

Board elections are typically held in January and June, with 2-3 positions up for election. This election cycle prevents a complete turnover of the Board at one time, allowing for a great mix of experience and new energy.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Board members must be at least 21 years of age,
  • Board members must be current Contributors in good standing for at least 6 months prior to the election,
  • Self-Nomination forms may be requested from a Board member, and must be completed and turned in to the Board no later than 21 days prior to an election.

In the case of vacancies on the Board, a special election may be held to fill vacant seats. Additionally, the Board may appoint a current contributor in good standing to fulfill the duties of the vacant director. Appointees will be empowered to fulfill all duties, excluding those that require becoming a signatory on the corporation’s financial accounts, and are not afforded voting rights with regards to Board matters.
