When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Contact forms are provided as a simple way to communicate with us, and each form will collect various pieces of information relevant to the communication. Most information is voluntarily provided by you while completing the form; however, additional information such as your IP address and browser information is also collected to help combat misuse of the forms.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. What We Do With Your Data

Data Dissemination & Retention
Information collected and retained by this website will NOT sold to any third party. Information may be shared with the organization’s Board of Directors, affiliated organizations and third-party services contracted by the organization as needed for the maintenance, upkeep and growth of the website and/or organization, or as mandated by a duly executed subpoena of law. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Confidential or secure information, such as credit card payment information, is not retained on the website or it’s database at any time. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Data Protection and Loss
Every attempt to protect data is made, including the use of security measurements with software updates, secure passwords, limited administrative access, secure sockets layer certificate use and transmission, hosting security plans and backup plans for the website and its data. In the case of any data breach, the organization will reach out to it’s contributors, as well as anyone that may be affected by the data breach. Every attempt to notify affected individuals will be made in a timely manner.

Your Data, Your Rights
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, which may also close any accounts established on your behalf with the website. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
